The Challenge

Raid La Saharienne is a week long intensive multisport race where women, in teams of two, canoe, hike, bike and run at least 15 kilometers a day. It is the first race of its kind that promotes female solidarity between France and Morocco. No media existed before the inaugural race. 

The organization asked for a teaser and short form documentary that encompassed key messages about the race- unity, strength, and limitless possibility. We captured the human spirit pushed to its extreme.

Our Approach

We flew to Dahkla, Western Sahara and identified multiple teams of women and documented their journey throughout the week. Our materials gave the race an identifiable look and brand,which enticed additional teams and sponsorships for their 2nd race.
