Sharpen, a New Study App

McGraw Hill wanted to revolutionize education in the mobile space. They wanted to create a new study app, Sharpen, that helped student’s excel in the collegiate courses by providing interactive quizzes, summaries and test prep that got right to the point. McGraw Hill reached out to us to partner and adapt their textbooks into short form video content that was a mix of live action and animation.

In a 7 month timeline, we wrote, shot, animated, edited over 1,100, 3-5 minute videos. We sourced, managed and hired over 180 people including writers, subject matter experts, production and post production crew, talent, etc. Covering over 48 of McGraw Hill’s most popular textbooks, Sharpen launched in September 2022 on both IOS and Android. The app is well received and already in the hands of millions of users worldwide. We continue to work with McGraw Hill to add more content to their App.
