The Challenge

We collaborated with WISH Charter schools in partnership with the GATES foundation to create a series of educational videos targeted at parents and caregivers of students with disabilities that provide guidance and tools to successfully navigate distance learning. Everything was shot, produced and delivered remotely as this was the height of the pandemic.

Our Approach

We needed to first take a step back, listen, and learn. WISH taught us how each tool and method they use to teach is based on . We were working with real families and documenting their daily struggles. We aimed to be as least intrusive as possible. We used a combination of Iphone footage, personal and professional, zoom recordings and graphics to illustrate each teaching method.

All videos can be found on website above. We created 33 individual videos ranging from 1:30- 15:00 minutes in length totaling 145 minutes of edited footage. We also made a new logo, hand drawn animated logo, and 10+ animated teaching graphics.
